Roger Durden Kaminski Scholarship Fund

After a brief illness, Roger Kaminski, our co-founder, passed away on March 27, 2014. He left a huge void in his family's life and in the community he dearly loved. Although Roger only lived in the Lacoochee area for 17 years, he became passionate about the youth in the area. He wanted to see them succeeed in life and overcome any obstacles that were in their way. It was Roger's goal in life to see more students go on to further their education.

Therefore, this scholarship will be available for those high school graduates from the tri-community areas of Lacoochee, Trilby, and Trilacoochee, who attended Lacoochee Elementary for at least three years and have a minimum GPA of 2.0, and who desire to go to college or a trade school.
